2015-09-13 Tai-Yue Happy family day & Forestation activity

To respond to the cooperative partner - Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.’s forestation project, Tai-Yue Rubber plant 1200 units at their Chung-Li factory on September.13, 2015. They plant 13 kinds of saplings included Taiwan Incense Cedar, Formosan Sweet Gum, Green Maple, Formosan Ash and Formosan Michelia etc..

The founder and also the honorary chairman at present- CHANG, YING-CHUAN said: “Tree planting doesn’t equal forestation. I hope we can defend our earth with the practical action. The biggest difference of forestation and tree planting is to plant different saplings together, not just the trees that have economical or viewing value. The global meteorology changes these years and resources been overused, especially the centralized torrential rain been more and more obvious. Recently, even the places in Japan that have never flooded come about the flood. It shows that how important the forestation is.”

Toyoda Gosei’s former President and now the Senior Adviser to the board – WAKAYAMA said, Toyoda Gosei cooperates with Yokohama National University’s emeritus professor – AKIRA MIYAWAKI to start the forestation project since 2009. Now has planted 270,000 trees in 22 operation offices in the world, and will continue striving to plant 600,000 trees in 60 operation offices.

Finally, appreciate Toyoda Gosei’s Senior Adviser to the board - WAKAYAMA and the members, legislator CHEN HSUEH-SHENG, alderman LIANG WEI-CHAO, neighborhood magistrate CHEN TSENG-CHANG, TAOYUAN CITY volunteer promotion association’s director and supervisor, CHUNG-PING elementary school’s principal CHEN HSIN-PING, teachers and students and all the fellow workers, family dependants to join in this meaningful activity.
